The purpose of this case study is to discuss theissues and challenges pertaining to industrial safety. Thecase study begins with the shocking incident of the brutalkilling of top-executive of the company by agitatedworkers. Inspite of having conducive environment for business,Italian subsidiary Robusto Muro Ltd had to confrontindustrial Relations issues at an incredible and unprecedentedlevel. Management perspective, workers viewpoint,competitors approach and diplomatic comments bypolitical bigwigs have also been incorporated so that thestudents may have 3-dimensional understanding of thescenario. The case of such genre will facilitate the studentsto comprehend and discuss the employee-employer relationshipand industrial safety, in particular and industrialrelations and IR machinery, in general.
