전문가판단모델(SPJ) 기반 폭력위험성평가(HCR-20) 버전 3 타당화 연구: 재범예측에서 예방으로의 패러다임 전환

본 연구의 목적은 국내에 HCR-20 버전 3을 소개하고 그 활용가능성을 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 국내 수용기관에 수용중인 80명의 재소자를 대상으로 표집이 이루어졌다. 이를 대상으로 HCR-20 버전 3의 채점자간 신뢰도와 공인타당도를 알아보았다. 표본의 대표성을 감안해 각지역별 수용인원수에 따라 차등적으로 전국 수용시설의 참가자를 모집하였고 그 결과 총 85명의샘플이 이루어졌지만 최종적으로 수집 자료의 신뢰도를 따져 5건을 제외한 80건을 최종 분석대상로 정하였다. 주요결과, 전체적으로 HCR-20의 3개 위험요인과 전문가 판단 항목이 CAPP, KORAS-G, LSI-R, PCL-R 등과 유의미한 수준에서 강한 상관을 보였다. 채점자간 신뢰도 또한높은 일치성(.58-.91)을 보였는데 상위 3개 위험요인 뿐 아니라 최종 전문가 판단 내 5개 하위영역에서도 비교적 높은 일치성(.60-.99)을 보였다. 이런 결과는 향후 HCR-20 버전 3의 국내 활용과 추가적인 연구에 중요한 디딤돌이 될 것으로 보인다. HCR-20 버전 3에 대한 시사점 등을추가적으로 논의하였다.
Abstract
We evaluated the interrater reliability and concurrent validity of the HCR-20 Version 3(HCR-20V3) for a total of 80 inmates across 18 prisons. Four sets of final ratings were blindly conduct by correctional clinicians, criminal analyzers and graduate-level students for 20 risk factors and five final opinions. Reliability analyses focused on ratings of the presence of Version 3 risk factors in step 2 & 3 and five opinions in step 7. Concurrent validity analyses focused on the correlational associations with between Version 3 and four well-validated measurements(CAPP, LSI-R, PCL-R, KORAS-G). Findings indicated that Version 3 and other measurements were strongly correlated. Interrater reliability was consistently excellent for the presence of risk factors and for final opinions. The majority of relevance ratings in the good to excellent range, although there was a minority of such ratings in the fair or poor categories. Findings support the concurrent validity and interrater reliability of HCR-20V3. Implication for the use of HCR-20V3 in Korean settings by professionals and agencies are further discussed.
