기술기반기업의 성과 영향요인 연구 : 혁신지원환경의 조절효과를 중심으로
A Study on the Factors Influencing Business Performance of Technology-based Enterprise: Focusing on the Moderating Effect of Innovation Supporting Environment

본 연구는 성장초기에 있는 기술기반기업의 성과 영향요인으로 전략과 역량 관점에서 기업가지향성 및 혁신역량과 기업성과 간의 관계를 규명한다. 또한, 기업가지향성 및 혁신역량과 기업성과 간의 관계에 대한 기업 소재 지역의 혁신지원환경의 조절효과를 검토한다. 실증분석을 위해 대전테크노파크의 기업지원사업의 수혜기업 중 10년 미만 업력을 가진 기술기반기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 시행하여 수집한 204개의 데이터를 다중회귀분석(OLS) 기법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 실증분석 결과, 기업가지향성과 기업 역량, 지역의 혁신지원환경이 기업성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 그런데 지역의 혁신지원환경이 기업의 관리역량을 보완하여 기술기반기업의 성과창출에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타난 반면, R&D역량, 마케팅역량과 기업의 성과간의 조절효과는 통계적으로 유의하지 않은 것으로 분석되어 지역혁신환경이 기술기반기업의 성과에 미치는 영향이 기업의 세부 혁신역량에 따라 다르다는 것을 보여주었다.
Abstract
This research attempted to investigate the effects of entrepreneurial orientation and innovative capabilities on the performance of technology-based firms. We also examined the moderating effect of regional innovation supporting environment on the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation, innovation capabilities and business performance. We collected the data from survey on technology-based start-ups of less than 10 years' business, which had been benefited from corporate support projects such as technology development, technology commercialization and marketing programs of Daejeon Techno Park. 214 firms’ data were examined, using OLS techniques. Empirical results showed that the performances of technology-based enterprises were significantly influenced by entrepreneurial orientation and innovative capabilities composed of managerial capability, marketing capability and R&D capability. We also found that the regional innovation supporting environment had a positive moderating effect on the relationship between the managerial capability of technology-based enterprises and the performance of companies.
