The purpose of this study is to develop the handbag design that reflects consumers' characteristics according to consumer culture change based on consumption trend analysis of domestic consumer in 2018. Domestic consumption trends in 2018 can be defined as enjoyment for consumers, participation consumption for fun, and the concept of product development of new handbag design is set based on this consumption trend. As a result of analyzing the trend of female handbag design, developed a women's handbag that the customer can assemble the current popular shopper bag and tote bag using a zipper and a strap in a variable shape design. In this study, the process of product development considering the convenience of customers' convenience in setting product development direction, development process and product use in the development of fashion products was conducted from a consumer. It seems to be meaningful as a basic research for product development in the contemporary consumer market which is getting stronger
