중소벤처기업의 비재무적 요인과 재무건전성 간의 관계: 기업경쟁력의 매개효과와 산업환경의 조절효과

중소벤처기업은 신규고용을 창출하고 효율, 혁신 및 경쟁을 제공함으로써 경제에 중요한 역할을 하지만 경영의 어려움과 재무적인 위험에 노출되어 있으며 실패의 가능성이 높다. 국가경제에서 차지하는 중요성과 높은 실패의 가능성을 감안할 때 중소벤처기업의 재무건전성에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구가 필요하다. 중소벤처기업의 재무건전성 평가에는 재무적 요인 못지않게 비재무적 요인의 역할이 중요하지만 비재무적 요인에 관한 연구는 활발하게 이루어지지 않았다. 본 연구는 경영자역량, 기업경쟁력, 산업환경이 중소벤처기업의 재무건전성에 미치는 영향에 관하여 조사하였다. 연구결과 전문성은 재무건전성에 영향을 미치지 않았으며 자금조달과 조직관리는 재무건전성에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 시장성은 재무건전성에 영향을 미치지 않았으며 기술력과 마케팅은 재무건전성에 부분적으로 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 전문성은 기업경쟁력을 매개로 하여 재무건전성에 부(-)의 영향을 미치고 자금조달은 기업경쟁력을 매개로 하여 재무건전성에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 조직관리와 재무건전성 간에는 기업경쟁력의 매개효과가 나타나지 않았다. 경영자역량과 재무건전성 간의 관계에서 산업환경의 조절효과는 부분적으로 나타났다.
Abstract
Small-and Medium-sized Enterprises(SMEs) are major contributors to the economy of most countries, but SMEs face managerial difficulties and financial unstability. So, it is important to identify factors that affect SMEs’ financial soundness. This study investigated relations between non-financial factors and financial soundness. The results of this study show expertise was not related to financial soundness but, financing and organization management were positively associated with financial soundness. Expertise, financing and organization management were positively associated with corporate competitiveness. Marketability was not related to financial soundness but technology and marketing was positively associated with financial soundness partially. Expertise was negatively associated with financial soundness and financing was positively associated with financial soundness mediated through corporate competitiveness, but there was no mediating effect between organization management and financial soundness. Industrial environment had moderating effect on financial soundness partially.
