진정성추구여행의 종교성에 관한 철학적 고찰

The purpose of this study was to not only draw a brand new religiosity by reviewing the common attributes of authenticity seeking travel (AST) which had already been revealed, but also aimed to analyze the religiosity from the point of analytic psychology, imaginative phenomenon, religious phenomenon, and Taoism as well. The author took an outlook on the world common to both the West and East, being composed of the earth and the sky, human being and the God. It was used as a framework of the study as well. Bachelard's Materialistic Imagination, Jung's prototype theory, Eliade's Phenomenology of Religion, and Taoism were borrowed in order to lay out a logical basis for whether human beings had religiosity by nature or not. The predominant features of AST were as follows; reason against everydayness, angst as a grounding-attunement, physical sufferings and contemplative sight, experience of beauty and sublime, and ontological changes. These five attributes of AST were mainly related to both ontology and aesthetics, which were also associated with religiosity of human beings such as aspiration and nostalgia for the sacred. The materials in primordial ages such as water, fire, air, and soil penetrated deep into the unconsciousness of the surveyed travelers and threw them together with the sacred by way of their imaginations. Bachelard, Heidegger, Eliade, and Lao-tzu reached a common ground for the above argument. The logic of an ancient material linking travelers with God by recalling the travelers prototypc can be a key concept for drawing the religiosity of AST as well.
