헌법교육에 관한 교육현장의 문제점과 동기유발 방안 연구

To tease out of the problems in teaching the constitutional law in regular schooling and the methods to effectively motivate it, this paper derived following six main implications. First, people in general don’t have enough understanding on the constitutional law education. This is due to the scant attention paid by regular schools and the teaching style aiming only at delivering toneless knowledge. Second, to live by as people of the constitutional state, acknowledging the role what constitution plays for the nation is a requisite. This is why the constitution deserves attention from the people and the proper constitutional law education is a must. Third, despite its importance, the constitutional law education in regular schooling is given little weight and poorly provided. Due to the problems in elementary and secondary education process, education regarding constitution is in fact very limited. Forth, since successful learning highly depends on teaching of instructors, developing effective teaching methods regarding the constitution is in need. Fifth, developing teaching methods that enable students to garner problem solving skills is important. And the last, it is required to cultivate pedagogics to motivate students to actively participate in learning the constitution. This paper expects to provide a cue to self examine the problems of the constitutional law education rendered in ineffective one-sided way.
