The Study on an Effect of Job Performance by the Level of Job Mismatch in the Barista - Focused on Franchisee Coffee Shop -

This study is performed to provide the effective performance of barista's duty and investigated between job mismatch and job performance by barista who work in the coffee shop. Thus, 192 samples of job mismatch were made to undergo frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis, using the SPSS 17.0 program. As the result, it has high correlation and influence between job mismatch and job performance. Skill mismatch and wage mismatch are analyzed a negative effect because service area is a high dependence of skill and work experience which is compared with other factors. In this context, it shows that wage mismatch is caused a negative effect to job performance depend on wage difference of expectation wage and real wage. In the production of coffee beverages with a certain level of franchise barista service, it is very difficult to standardize according to the skill level and emotion of each individual, which can be directly linked to job stress. This suggests that there is a correlation between the job dissatisfaction and job performance of the barista. This study is investigated that there is no effect between education mismatch and job performance of barista. Barista is highly depended on work experience than education. But over-education and under-education is not related with job performance of barista.
