친환경통제 패키지, 환경역량, 환경성과 및 경제성과간의 관계

[Purpose]Although recent literature has demonstrated the influence of eco－control on organizational performance, relatively little is known about how this influence occurs within organization. The aim of this study is to investigate the extent to which the eco－control package can fosters environmental capabilities building on a natural resource－based view that, in turn, contribute to an organization’s environmental performance and economic performance. [Methodology]To test the hypotheses, survey data were collected from the manufacturing firms listed on KOSPI. This study use PLS structural equation modeling to analyze hypotheses empirically. [Finding]The results of this study suggest that eco－control package can act as a mechanism that can support firm’s environmental capabilities(eco－learning, continuous environmental innovation, stakeholder integration, and shared environmental vision capabilities). And the results suggest that two environmental capabilities(eco－learning, stakeholder integration capabilities) can contribute directly to the firm’s environmental performance and economic performance. [Implications]This study highlights the importance of implementing a complete set of eco－control practices to support the development of environmental capabilities and to contribute to environmental performance and economic performance within the firm.
