크라우드 펀딩을 활용한일본의 도시재생 재원확보 사례와 시사점

With the start of the Moon Jae-In’s administration, the importance of urban regeneration is being stressed. Pilot projects for the ‘Urban Regeneration New Deal’ are getting ready for full implementation and the various methods on financial supports are being considered. However, it is need to find the financial supports other than government assistance because of the poor local financial status. This study analyses some cases on the ‘crowd funding for machizukuri’ in Japan and suggests the applicability and implications to Korea’s urban regeneration policies for the new way of economic assistance. Particularly, this study researched the activities on crowd funding brokerage companies that specialized in the machizukuri field, the support program of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in Japan, and the machizukuri cases using the crowd funding. As a result that this study figured out that the crowd funding is used in the various machizukuri projects that reflect the residents’ needs and has a reduction in public supports. It is time for residents to make efforts to activate by themselves to revitalize their cities. And this study is assured that the crowd funding will be the new strategy and the foundation to secure finances for the urban regeneration policies after the public financial supports are finished.
