Discussions on corporate social responsibility have been developed since the 1950s, and in the 2000s there has been a growing demand for companies to implement CSR or sustainability management. The rapid changes in the management environment such as the rise of serious environmental problems caused by corporate activities, the intensification of corporate competition, the expansion of SRI, the growth of civil society and the emergence of various stakeholders, this is an important issue to be considered for the survival pf the corporate. Global standards for Sustainability Management include the UN Global Compact, ISO 26000, and the IR framework,. that they’re encouraging companies to implement social responsibility principles through standardization in all areas surrounding corporate such as environment, labor, ethics, social contribution, SRI, and response to stakeholders. This study compares and analyzes representative Global Standard, and reviews whether Sustainability Reports are published in compliance with Global Standard. And then this study suggests that Sustainability Reporting using Global Standard can be a strategy for effective communication with various stakeholders.
