입학사정관제 입학생의 대학생활 및 취업성과 분석

The purpose of this study is to analyze the student life and employment performance of students admitted into college using Admission Officer System. In other words, I want to find out how admission officer’s admission type affects grade point average(GPA), major satisfaction, employment status and monthly average wage. The data are from 5th follow-up to 12th follow-up of KEEP on middle school students, and the final analysis is based on 1,168 students. Regression analysis and logistic regression analysis were used to investigate the relationship between admission types and four dependent variables. The results of the analysis are as follows. The results of analyzing the university life performance showed that the students' gender, type of university establishment, university location and admission status of new admission type had a statistically significant effect on GPA. And major satisfaction was affected by college type, college major, and university location. Second, as to the employment performance, the gender, type of university establishment, university location, college major, and household income influenced the employment status. The monthly average wage was statistically significantly affected by the students' gender, college major, university location, and family income. Thus, new admission type, Admission Officer System affects on only GPA. Based on the analysis of the effects of the Admissions Officer’s admission type on the university life and the employment performance, I suggest a more sophisticated future study on the performance analysis of Admission Officer system.
