It is uncertain whether family farms, which are particularly valued as ideal business types, make a particular contribution to sustainable development in terms of social, ecological and economic function. If the protection of family farms is considered meaningful because of their social and economic sustainability, we should look at whether it can be based on constitution or EU law. As a result, family farms are worth supporting for sustainability, so it is necessary to provide normative definitions on the basis of constitution and EU law.
