비정규직 활용이 기업의 경영성과에 미치는 영향 : 고정효과모형 패널분석

In order to examine the effect of changes in irregular workers ratio on business performance, I conducted panel regression analysis using the KLI workplace panel data. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, as the ratio of irregular workers increases, labor costs and productivity do not change, but turnover rises and profitability declines. Second, as the proportion of direct employed irregular workers increases, the turnover rate increases. Third, as the ratio of indirect employed irregular workers increases, labor costs, productivity and turnover rate increase and profitability decreases. Fourth, the non-linear relationship (inverted U-shaped) hypothesis assumes that irregular employment affects profitability positively within a certain range, but has a negative effect if it goes beyond a certain range. Empirical analysis showed that the nonlinear relationship hypothesis was not supported. The implications of the above analysis are as follows. “Converting irregular workers into regular jobs will lower turnover rate and increase profitability. The transition of direct employed irregular workers to regular workers lowers the turnover rate. Turning indirect employed irregular workers into regular workers lowers labor costs and turnover rates and increases profitability.”
