부산지역 신성장산업의 특화와 다양성 및 고급화 지수 분석 : 전략산업을 중심으로

This paper analyzes the competitive power of 5 strategic industries and 18 promising sub-industry fields in Busan using the recent 2007-2016 statistical industry data. To do this, this paper adopted several analytical tools such as entrophy index, national average index, the up-scale indices such as prody index and expy index as well as the loquation quotient. Busan’s strategic industries have comparative advantages in marine plant, green vessel industry, marine fishery foods industries. Among sub-industries, there seem to be specialization advantages in machinery and aircraft, footware and textile, design fashion, medical service, finance and banking and logistic industry fields. According to the entrophy index, Busan’s industries seem to have increasing varieties during 2007-2012 but have decreasing varieties and increasing specialization after 2007. National average indices decreased since 2012, so that the heterogeneity and difference had increased in 18 promising sub-industry fields since 2012, but national average indices had decreased since 2014. The up-scale indices such as prody index and expy index show that the prody indices of 18 promising sub-industry fields in Busan have incresed during 2007-2016, and expy indeices 18 promising sub-industry fields had increasing trend except marine pland, green vessel, automobile, anti-aging, old-age friendly machine industries.
