미․중 통상마찰이 한국경제에 미치는 영향 분석

초록
본 연구는 국제산업연관분석 방법을 통하여 미·중 통상마찰이 한국경제에 미치는 파급효과를 분석하고, 이에 기초한 시사점과 대응방안을 도출하는데 목적을 두고 진행되었다. 본 연구의 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, WWZ(2013) 총수출 분해방식으로 세계 부가가치기준 무역구조와 한국 및 미·중 양국 수출의 최종수요지를 분석한 결과, 한국의 대미 총수출 중 미국을 경유하여 제3국으로 우회수출된 중간재 비중은 5.8%에 불과하나, 중국을 경유하여 제3국으로 우회수출된 비중은 13.5%로 나타났다. 또한 미·중 양국의 간 교역구조를 분석한 결과, 한국이 미국을 통하여 중국에 우회 수출한 금액은 미→중 수출의 0.41%인 4.6억 달러, 중국을 통하여 미국에 우회수출한 금액은 중→미 수출의 1.32%인 45.8억 달러로 분석된다. 따라서 통상마찰로 양국 간 수출이 각각 20% 감소한다고 가정하면 한국의 대미 총수출은 0.12%(9,256만 달러), 대중 총수출은 0.54%(9.2억 달러) 감소하는 것으로 분석되었다. 둘째, WWYZ(2016) 총생산 분해방식으로 미·중 GDP 성장률 감소가 한국 총생산에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 한국 GDP 감소율은 0.0446%로 나타났으며, 이를 금액으로 환산하면 약 7.4억 달러에 달할 것으로 분석되었다. 셋째, WWYZ(2016) 최종재생산 분해방식으로 미·중 최종수요 감소가 한국의 대미, 대중 수출에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 한국의 부가가치수출(VAX_f) 감소액은 약 6.1억 달러로 분석되었으며, 국별로는 대중 수출감소(4.8억 달러)가 대미 수출 감소(1.3억 달러)보다 더 크게 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구에서는 미·중 통상마찰로 인한 GVCs 재편이 한국에 주는 시사점과 대응전략을 제시하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the ripple effect of the US and China trade friction on Korea economy through the international industry correlation analysis method, and to derive implications and countermeasures based on this analysis. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, as a result of analyzing final demand of US-China for export by the gross exports decomposition method of WWZ(2013), if trade between the two countries decreases by 20%, exports of Korea to US decreased by 0.12% and to China decreased by 0.54%. Second, as a result of analysis of the impact in decline on GDP growth rate in the US-China on GDP of Korea GDP by WWYZ(2016) decomposition method, decline rate of Korea GDP was 0.0446%, and it was $ 740 million. In addition, if final demand of US-China are declined, as a result of VAT exports of Korea to US and China, Korea' s total export declined by about $ 610 million. Finally, this study showed the implications and countermeasures for Korea by GVCs reorganization basing on US-China trade friction.
