초록
평생교육에 참여한 학습자는 프로그램에 참여하면서도 무형식학습을 함께 진행한다. 동료학습자와 협력‧공동작업을 하기도 하고, 학습동아리 등에 참여하기도 한다. 비형식교육과 무형식학습은 서로 별개로 이루어지기도 하지만 연동되어 학습목표와 성과를 달성하는데 기여하기도 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 비형식교육의 상황에서 무형식학습, 학습가치, 학습성과의 관계를 분석하였다. 이를 통하여 비형식교육의 어떤 특성이 무형식학습과 관련되어 학습성과를 나타내는지, 또 비형식교육의 어떤 특성이 학습가치를 고취하여 학습성과에 영향을 주는지를 파악하고자 하였다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 비형식교육에 참여하는 성인학습자 526명의 응답 자료를 분석에 활용하였다. 분석방법으로는 타당도 및 신뢰도 분석, 기술통계 분석, 상관분석, 구조방정식 모형분석 등이 활용되었다. 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 비형식교육 적합성, 학습가치, 무형식학습, 학습성과 간의 구조방정식모형이 타당한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 비형식교육 적합성은 학습성과에 직접적인 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 무형식학습과 학습가치는 비형식교육 적합성과 학습성과의 관계를 매개하였다. 이상의 분석결과를 토대로 관련된 논의 및 시사점을 제시하였다.
Abstract
Learners may not only participate a lifelong education program but also do a informal learning at the same time. Sometimes, nonformal education and informal learning are connected harmoniously and support learner’s goal achievement. The purpose of this study was positively investigate the structural relations among the suitability of nonformal education, informal learning, learning value, and learning outcome. For the purpose, the quantitative data were collected from 526 adult learners participating nonformal education program(s). According to the procedures of structural equation modeling, the analyses were performed. The results are like following: First, the model was fit with the collected data. Second, the suitability of nonformal education had the influences on learning outcome directly. Third, informal learning and learning value were the mediators between the suitability of nonformal education and learning outcome. Based on these results, implications and limits of this study were discussed.
