중소 제조사업체의 파견관계 특성과 파견사업체의 이윤전략 - 안산ㆍ시흥스마트허브 지역내 전자, 기계업종을 중심으로 -

This article examines a contract on temporary placement of workers between small and medium manufacturing firm and temporary help agency as relations between firms in market. Contract on temporary placement of workers has nature of contested exchange underlying power relations, which treats labor power commodity. Also, contract on temporary placement of workers has the nature of a relational exchange in which the needs of the employing firm for dispatched labor power and the profit of the temporary help agency are exchanged. In this respect, the temporary help relationship is also a kind of inter-firm contractual relationship, and the dispatched relationship between a number of small-scale use firm and a number of dispatching companies is different from the in-house subcontracting. According to studies of small and medium manufacturing firm and temporary help agency for five years in Ansan and Siheung, the temporary help relations in the electronic sectors emphasize the dispatching workers based on the numerical flexibility and the dispatching relations within the machinery sectors emphasize the skill level of the dispatched workers. In response to this, the dispatching companies have also gained profits through intermediary exploitation, crossing legitimate and illegal areas, and have been indirectly hiring local labor markets while exclusively supplying low-wage and flexible labor. This research has meanings of examining function of temporary help firms, considering relations of user company and temporary help firms, which are insufficient from existing research.
