사우디아라비아 공공환경법에 대한 연구

This article is a pioneering study on the General Environmental Regulations of Saudi Arabia. According to the article 32 of the Basic Law of Governance of Saudi Arabia, the state strives for the preservation, protection, and improvement of the environment, including preventing pollution. In addition, these general environmental regulations have a legal system by applying precautionary principle, principle of cause responsibility, principle of consideration, and principle of cooperation, which are basic principles of the enactment of environmental law. It is noteworthy that the most of the laws of Saudi Arabia refer to ‘the violation of Islam’ in the principle of cooperation, but it is not mentioned in the General Environmental Regulations of Saudi Arabia.
