Currently, the field of textiles has been expanding its use, and there is an increasing trend of interest in non-material values ​​such as emotion. The ultimate goal of this study is to suggest the possibilities and applications of emotional textile design applying Digital Craft through empirical research focusing on the emotional significance of textile design using digital craft. Based on the evaluation results obtained through the subjective evaluation scale developed in this study, the empirical study was conducted to verify whether there is statistical significance by comparing the difference between the textile design using digital technology and the textile design using digital craft. As a result of the experiment, some meaningful implications for the possibilities of the emotional generation and application of the digital craft - applied textile design works could be derived. First, ethnic emotions were not significant but increased in all three comparative analyzes. Second, both modern and classical emotions decreased. Third, the comparison between digital textile machines, digital textile machines and crafts showed that the sensibility increased with significant difference. Fourth, in the comparison of 3D printing, 3D printing and craft, the elegance increased significantly. Therefore, it is expected that textile design using digital craft will be able to deliver ethnic, fun and elegant sensibility according to the digital technology used. If the results derived from this study are appropriately used in the development and production stages of textile design, it will work effectively for the development of emotional textile design. In addition, the results of this study provide an objective data on the design of emotional textile through Digital Craft, which will provide important implications not only to the academic world but also to the practical affairs in the future.
