통합사회 현장 정착 방안 연구 - 법교육에의 시사점과 함께 -

초록
2018학년도부터 처음 적용되는 통합사회는 개발 의도가 왜곡된 모습으로 학교 현장에서 수업되고 있으며, 또한 개발과 적용 과정에서도 성과와 한계를동시에 드러냈다. 이에 따라 통합사회가 학교 현장에 안착하기 위하여 사회과 교사들의 의견을 충분히 반영한 다양하고 구체적인 정착 방안을 모색해보는 것이 중요할 것이라 판단된다. 특히 통합사회에 포함된 내용 가운데 법교육 관련 내용은 난이도가 상대적으로 높고 상치과목 교사에게 더 부담이 커 현장의 어려움이 더 큰 편이다. 통합사회가 학교 현장에 안착하기 위한 방안들은 여러 가지가 있다. 첫째, 사회과 교사들에 대한 체계적이고 지속적인 연수를 추진하는 것이다. 둘째, 교과서 및 다양한 교수·학습 자료의 구체적이고 현실적인 활용 방안을 안내해 주는 것이다. 셋째, 사회 교과 교실을 확충하는 것이다. 넷째, 사회과 교사 교류 활성화를 위한 실질적 지원을 해주는 것이다. 마지막으로 통합사회에 대한 교사들의 인식 개선을 위한 노력이 필요하다. 이와 같은 방안들은 통합사회 내의 법교육의 현장적용성도 높여줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
Since 2018, ‘Integrated social studies’ has been taught at the high school with a distorted view unlike the initial intention, and also revealed the achievements and limitations at the same time in the development and application process. Therefore, it is important to look for various and specific settlement methods that fully reflect the opinions of social studies teachers in order for the Integrated social studies to settle in safety on the school. Especially LRE contents included in this curriculum are relatively difficult and harder for teachers who didn't major Social-Studies in college. There are many ways to solve these problems and to find concrete ways for the ‘Integrated social studies’ to settle in the school. First, there is a need for systematic and continuous training of social studies teachers who should teach integrated social studies. Second, concrete and practical use of textbooks and various teaching and learning materials should be guided through various paths. Third, social classrooms should be expanded. Fourth, practical support is needed to promote interaction of social studies teachers. Lastly, efforts to improve teachers' perceptions about the subject will be needed.
