우리나라 세무회계 사례연구에 대한 분석 및 시사점

초록
본 연구는 최근 국내의 세무회계 분야의 사례연구에 대한 분석 및 시사점을 분석하고자 한다. 1998년까지만 해도 주요 저널 중 세무회계분야의 비중은 7%에 불과하였으나(권수영, 정종욱, 1999), 2000년대 이후 세무회계분야의 연구가 급격하게 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 이는 우리나라의 경제 규모가 커지면서 기업이나 개인이 직면하게 되는 조세이슈가 매우 다양하게 되었기 때문이며, Scholes & Wolfson(1992)의 연구 이후 전세계적으로 기업과 개인의 조세전략에 대한 연구가 활발해졌기 때문으로 파악된다. 세무회계분야는 경험적 자료가 많지 않고 각 케이스별로 대응할 수 있는 조세전략이 다양하기 때문에 사례연구를 통한 구체적인 분석이 필요한 편이다. 이와 같이 점점 세무회계분야의 사례연구가 활발하게 진행 중임에도 불구하고 세무회계분야의 사례연구를 분석한 문헌연구는 없는 실정이므로, 본 연구에서는 2000년대 이후 지금까지 이루어졌던 사례분석의 유형을 정리하여 정책적 시사점을 도출하고, 향후 연구의 출발점을 제공하고자 한다. 이에 본 연구는 회계학 사례논문 중 세무회계분야를 중심으로 사례논문의 현황을 분석하고 추후 사례연구의 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 또한 사례논문의 한글색인어(key words)를 병합하고 분석하여 연구자들이 추후 사례연구를 수행함에 있어 선행 사례연구들의 연구동향을 쉽게 파악하고, 사례교육 강의자료로서 관련 자료 및 참고문헌을 검색하는데 있어 편리성을 증대시키고자 하는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to review the case study of tax accounting field and analyze its implications. By 1998, only 7% of the major accounting journals presented tax accounting literatures, since the 2000s, there has been a rapid increase in the field of tax accounting. This is due to the fact that as the size of Korea's economy grows, the tax issues facing corporations and individuals have become very diverse and the research of Scholes & Wolfson (1992) has led to the study of corporate and individual taxation strategies around the world. In the tax accounting field, since there are not many empirical data and there are various tax strategies that can deal with each case, detailed analysis through case study is necessary. Although there are a few case studies in the field of tax accounting, there are no review studies in spite of the fact that case studies in the tax accounting field are progressing actively. Therefore, this study reviews the characteristics of tax accounting case study and its implications.
