A 4,40,400-tris[phenyl(m-tolyl)amino]triphenylamine (m-MTDATA) was applied as an additive to holetransportingpoly(3-hexylthiophene) [P3HT] layers in perovskite solar cells. The incorporation of 0.5 wt%m-MTDATA to the P3HT layer led to an increased power conversion efficiency of 9.53%, due to anenhancement in the short circuit current, open-circuit voltage andfill factor, compared with that (8.76%)of the control cell without the additive. This enhanced performance was attributed to an increase in thehole mobility and a decrease in the charge recombination of the device with the P3HT:m-MTDATA blendfilm, compared to those of the control device with the pristine P3HTfilm.
