데이트폭력의 현주소와 대응방안에 대한 고찰 - 국회 법률안을 중심으로 -

Since the dating violence is characterized by the fact that it is a crime committed in an intimate relationship, which always implies the possibility of secondary damage or a violent crime. However, it was regarded as a temporary love quarrel or a personal problem among lovers, and was not aware of its seriousness. However, recent incidents of murdering the cohabitant have led to the perception that dating violence is a serious problem. As a result, the National Police Agency established a policy to strengthen on - site response to the protection of victims of dating violence, and as the legislation was introduced in the National Assembly, the perception that dating violence was no longer a personal issue seemed to spread. However, in spite of the efforts of the National Police Agency, the dating violence crime is on the rise. And the related legislation that was proposed to the National Assembly is in a state of being buried in other pending issues. Now it is time for us to understand the seriousness of dating violence and to begin specific discussions on how to respond. Thus, in this paper, effective legislative directions to cope with the crime of dating violence and a basis for protection of the victim will be proposed. And, in order to recognize the importance of preventive measures, I would like to review the implications for the pending legislative proposals initiated by the previous studies and the National Assembly.
