질병의 경중도에 따른 의료기관 선택속성이 만족도에 미치는 영향력 차이에 관한 연구

Competition between medical institutions got intensified as medical industry became patient centered by putting focus on the patients' needs during the medical practice by preference or decision of provider-centered medical professionals, and awareness and understanding of selection of medical institutions are being required by strengthened control. Specially, as the concept of management took root recently in medical institutions, some medical institutions are employing professional managers to construct a professional management system or attempting business consultation in earnest through external consultative organizations to actively increase the use of patients. Analysis of patients' behavior is becoming more necessary because selection of medical institution of patients are being made by patient choice without institutional constraints. Understanding a variety of segmented demand and choice factor of patients can be considered as an important challenge of providing patient-centered medical service for medical institutions because the effort to raise the reuse of a medical institution by improving patient satisfaction can be a core business strategy of medical institution. To this end, this study intended to investigate which service factor of medical institution is considered importantly during the process of existing and potential customers selecting a medical institution. Also, according to the result of investigating the effects of selection attributes of medical institution according to the severity of disease by introducing the concept of severity of illness among various environmental factors that can appear during the process of existing customer and potential customer selecting a medical institution, satisfaction for medical institution selection attribute according to the severity of illness was higher for slight illness than severity, and it was identified that selection attribute of medical institution makes effect on overall satisfaction according to the severity of illness.
