지역주민의 관광지 사회적 책임이 환경책임행동에 미치는 영향 : 유네스코 지정 무등산권 세계지질공원을 대상으로

The purpose of this study was to analyze the structural relationships among destination responsibility, tourism impacts, overall community satisfaction, and environmentally responsible behavior based on stakeholder and social exchange theory. Destination social responsibility was divided into the dimensions of the environment, society, economy, stakeholders, and spontaneity based on the preceding research. Specifically, it addressed such dimensions as whether the destination was being returned to the community well, whether it was being operated well in terms of profitability, whether the stakeholders were well considered, and whether they were abiding by ethical values or legal obligations. This research is distinguished from preceding research in that it attempted to establish relationships of environmentally responsible behavior by expanding the concept of corporate social responsibility to suit the situation of tourism destinations. A survey was conducted to residents of Gwangju Metropolitan City. The SEM (structural equation modeling) analysis results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that destination social responsibility had a significant influence on tourism impacts. Second, it was found that destination social responsibility had a significant influence on overall community satisfaction. Third, it was found that positive tourism impacts had a significant influence on overall tourism satisfaction. In addition, positive tourism satisfaction had a significant influence on environmentally responsible behavior. The results of this study provide socio-psychological meaning to prepare policies for responsible environmental protection and tourism resources for local residents in various communities where global geoparks are located. In addition, this study helps to solve the present problems and prepare future strategies for problems that may arise.
