스마트 팜의 국민경제적 파급효과 : 산업연관분석을 중심으로

This study examines the production inducement coefficient, value added inducement coefficient, employment inducement coefficient, linkage to other industries, forward and backward linkage effects of Smart Farm which is emerging as a key area of convergence of agriculture and Information Communication Technology (ICT) using Input-Output Analysis. According to the results, the production inducement coefficient of Smart Farm sector is 1.7204, the value added inducement is 0.7210, and the employment inducement coefficient is 6.0854. The wholesale and retail industries is found to be highly relevant to the smart farm sector in all aspects of production inducement, value added inducement and employment inducement in particular. Meanwhile Smart farms have a relatively small impact on other industries, while others have relatively high sensitivity. The implications derived from the results of this study are as follows. First, Smart Farm is expected to be an effective alternative to overcome the low employment creation of traditional agriculture, and it seems that it is time to think deeply about various new jobs that can be generated through the convergence of agriculture and ICT. Second, Smart Farm is characterized by strong linkage with specific industry sectors and strong forward linkage effect. In order to maximize the economic ripple effects of Smart Farm, it is necessary to establish a systematic development strategy that considers the linkages with the front and back industries in a comprehensive manner.
