본 연구는 공무원의 퇴직준비 영향요인을 분석함으로써 향후 퇴직 준비의 바람직한 정책적 시사점을 모색하는 데 연구 목적을 둔다. 공무원의 여가활동, 가족관계, 자아존중감, 직업만족도, 퇴직부담, 직업에 대한 태도가 퇴직 기대와 퇴직 준비에 미치는 영향요인 관계를 분석한 주요 연구결과는 첫째, 퇴직에 대한 기대와 퇴직 준비 등에 미치는 영향 요인으로 자아존중감이 가장 높고 퇴직부담(스트레스), 여가활동 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 퇴직준비에 미치는 영향변인으로 높게 나타난 것은 직업만족도가 가장 영향을 미치고 있었다. 셋째, 퇴직 기대(매개변인)가 퇴직 준비(결과변인)에 미치는 영향 요인 관계는 유의한 영향을 미치고 있어 퇴직에 대한 시각이 부정적이면 퇴직에 대한 준비가 더욱 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 향후 퇴직 예정 공무원들을 위해 개인·사회적 특성을 고려한 수요자 중심의 구체적인 통합 교육 프로그램의 개발하고 제도적으로는 퇴직 준비와 컨설팅이 가능한 전담조직 설치와 프로그램 운영을 위한 시스템화의 상설화 기반 마련, 급격한 고령사회 진입과 출산율 저하에 따른 노동력 감소에 대비하여 퇴직 공무원이 갖는 전문성 활용 방안 등이 모색되어야 한다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze factors influencing the retirement preparation of local government employees. The variables used in this study are as follows. Influencing variables of the retirement preparation are composed of six variables as determined through the exploratory factor analysis. These are: family relationship, leisure activity, retirement burden, sense of self-ego respect, job satisfaction, attitude toward job. In this study, mediating variable of retirement preparation, dependent variable, is introduced. That is retirement expectation. The methodology of this study is primarily analytical in its approach supplemented by empirical findings through extensive analyses of retirement behaviors cases. The results of this study may be briefly summarized as follows. First, Influencing factors of the retirement preparation are leisure activity, retirement burden, sense of self-ego respect. Second, Influencing factors of the retirement expectation are job satisfaction. Third, Retirement expectation was effecting retirement preparation.
