매입임대주택 내 옥상텃밭의 실태분석을 통한 지속가능한 운영방안

Purpose: Recently, the number of vulnerable people due to an aging society is in dire need of housing welfare for them. Thus, the local government created a rooftop gardening in the purchased rental housing to provide housing support as a community space and is pushing for the promotion of the self-help and revitalization of the community among the vulnerable. In order to ensure that the rooftop garden is sustainable rather than being isolated, however, the field of rooftop garden is still in a inferior stage and there is a possibility that the roof garden will be destroyed when the problem is not reconciled. Thus, the purpose of this study is to suggest sustainable operation of rooftop gardens in purchased rental houses. Method: The scope of this study was to select a total of seven housing sites with support for gardening activities over the three years from 2015 to 2018 and the results derived through qualitative research methods were analyzed as hardware, contentware and humanware. Result: On the hardware side, necessary facilities for rooftop gardening should be established to take into account of user characteristics. On the contentware side, customizable gardening program should be provided. On the humanware side, residential community formation should be provided to enable active participation and cooperation by participants.
