디자인 창업과 관련한 국내 연구의 다학제적 동향 분석

초록
본 연구는 디자인 창업과 관련 있는 국내 논문을 대상으로 연구 동향을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위 해서 1999년부터 2019년까지 발행된 총 89편의 논문 을 조사대상으로 선정하여 연구출처, 연구유형, 조사 방법 등을 시간과 연구대상에 따라 분석하였다. 분석 결과 디자인에 특화되거나 창업에 관련 있는 기관에서의 발표비중이 높았고, 국내 발표된 논문 발 간 추이는 국내 창업현상을 대변하듯 창업률 증가 및 창업활성화 시기와 동일하게 증가했다. 예비창업자를 연구대상으로 가장 많이 다루었으며 창업기업, 창업자 순으로 조사되었다. 예비창업자는 실증적 연구방법을 활용한 경우가 많았고, 창업기업과 창업자를 대상으로 한 논문의 경우 해석적 연구방법의 활용빈도가 높게 나타났다. 연구대상별 유형빈도는 예비창업자의 경우 역량과 관련한 유형이 가장 활발하게 연구되었고, 창 업기업은 평가 유형, 그리고 창업자의 경우에는 지침 에 해당하는 유형의 연구가 활발하게 이루어 졌다. 마 지막으로 연구유형별 연구의 흐름은 디자인 유형의 연구를 시작으로 초기에는 평가 유형이 주로 연구되 었고, 2010년부터는 역량 및 지침 유형 연구가 본격화 되었으며 2015년 이후에는 디자인, 평가, 역량, 지침 등 모든 유형에서의 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 최근 디자인 창업에 대한 연구가 폭넓게 진행되고 있지 만 지침 유형을 제외한 디자인, 평가, 역량 유형에서 는 혼합연구의 활용이 낮게 나타났으며, 급변하는 창 업 상황을 통찰력 있게 바라보기 위해서는 더욱 심도 있는 연구가 요구된다. 창업이 새로운 기회의 시장으로 주목받으며 활성화 되고 있음에도 불구하고 디자인을 분야별로 분석하기 엔 디자인 창업과 관련한 연구가 아직 미비한 실정이 다. 본 연구를 바탕으로 디자인 창업과 관련한 국외 연구를 비교 분석한다면 더 많은 데이터의 축적으로 의미 있는 결과가 도출될 것이라 기대한다.
Abstract
This study aims to identify the research tend of the national theses related to design based start-up. Therefore, selecting a total of 89 theses published from 1999 to 2019 as the study subjects, the sources, types, and methods of researches were analyzed according to its time and subjects. The results of analysis showed a high portion of publication in the organizations specialized in design or associated to start-up, and the publication trend of domestic theses was identically developed with the increase of start-up rate and the start-up invigorating time, as representing domestic start-up phenomenon. Pre-entrepreneurs were the most studied subjects, followed by start-up companies and entrepreneurs. Empirical research methods were utilized in most cases of pre-entrepreneurs, and the frequency in use of analytic research methods was highly revealed in the cases of theses for start-up companies and entrepreneurs. For the frequency of types according to study subjects, competence-related type was most actively explored in the case of pre-entrepreneurs, and the assessment type and the type coming under guidelines were actively studied on start-up companies and entrepreneurs respectively. Lastly, for the trend of studies by research type, the assessment type was mainly investigated in the early stage, beginning with the researches on design types, and the studies on the types of competences and guidelines were fully developed from 2010. Since 2015, The studies on all types have actively proceeded, such as designs, assessments, competences, and guidelines. While the recent researches on design based start-up have been extensively conducted, the use of mixed methods research was low in the types of design, assessment, and competence except for the type of guidelines, and its in-depth studies are required to look at the rapidly changing start-up conditions with insight. Even though the start-up has been spotlighted and invigorated as a market for new opportunities, the studies related to design based start-up are still insufficient to analyze designs by sector. Based on this study, it expects that more data accumulation will draw significant results if comparatively analyzing international researches linked to design based start-up.
