최저임금에 대한 보도 프레임의 의미망 분석: 환대산업(Hospitality Industry)의 대응 전략을 위한 탐색적 연구

Conducting a semantic network analysis on news related to minimum wage issues reported by 10 Korean news media, this study identified news frames of the wage issue. Compared the time with the news coverage about the minimum wage issue, the concentration index in the next time period decreased. Similarly, in the post-competition period, the range of attributes for the news frames and content diversity decreased. Therefore, this study empirically observed that various perspectives could lead to a deterioration of content diversity due to the dynamics of competing media frames. This study carried out empirical content analysis applying semantic network analysis method based on algorithm to analyze a large amount of news content. Topic modeling analysis and semantic network analysis were used to determine the reporting frame presented in the media coverage of 10 media for minimum wage from July 2017 to July 2019. This study verified that hospitality industry needs to prepare for the new business environment by the new wage policy based on the analysis of public opinion about Minimum wage in Korea ad.
