노인일자리사업의 현재와 미래에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that determine who currently participate andwould in the future participate in the Senior Employment Project among Korean older adults. To achieve this goal, the study used data collected by Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs(KIHASA) in 2017(N=9.948). The two dependent variables are: ‘currently participating or not’, and ‘willing to participate in the future or not’. Since each of the dependent variables are composed of two categories, the study analyzed the data by running logistic regressions. The first result is that those who are older aged, have higher depression scores, and have better self-rated health are more likely to participate in the Senior Employment Project. Also, those who are females, live alone, have chronic disease(s), and participate in religious activities and leisure activities are more likely to participate in the Project. Furthermore, those with lower education level participate more in the project compared to those with a college degree. Second, previous or current participants in the Project show more willingness in participating in the future Project. Based on these results, policy regarding the future Senior Employment Project was suggested.
