The Effect of Reliability and Innovation Resistance on the Switching Value of Fintech Service

Fintech is a combination of financial and communication technologies, and it has emerged in response to changes in the growth limits of traditional financial industries. Fintech applications are spreading throughout financial services including payment, remittance and asset management. However, fintech applications are not successful because of user resistance to the innovation. The purpose of this study is to identity the antecedents of fintech service for customer. The results showed that perceived benefit had a significant effect on reliability and innovation resistance. In addition, perceived cost and perceived risk had a significant effect on reliability and innovation resistance. Finally, reliability had a significant effect on switching value, however, innovation resistance hadn't a significant effect on switching cost. However, it is note that research model of this study was established from a restricted point of view, therefore, there is a need to combine more complicated factors of related fields.
