아동기 학대피해경험이 데이트 폭력 가해행동에 미치는 영향: 폭력허용도와 충동성의 조절된 매개효과

This study was conducted to identify the relationship of factors affecting Intimate partner violence behavior(IPV). The data was collected from “Date Violence Survey 2015” which was conducted by the Korean Institute of Criminology. The analysis found that the mediating effect of tolerance toward violence between child abuse experience and IPV was significant for every IPV behaviors(controlling, emotional, physical and sexual violence), confirming the path of childhood abuse experience to increase the likelihood of IPV by increasing tolerant attitude toward violence. Also, the moderated mediation effect of tolerance toward violence and impulsivity was significant for emotional and physical violence, but not for controlloing and sexual violence. Differences in these results suggest that the mechanism beneath the occurrence of IPV acts may vary by types of violence, so further studies should take place to explore what personal and environmental traits affect each IPV behavior. This study is meaningful in that it statistically validates the relationship of factors affecting the conduct of date violence and, based on this, presents the need for prevention and education policies targeting the public and criminals.
