치안경쟁력의 지표체계 형성을 위한 고찰: 정부경쟁력의 보완적 적용

This study aims to define the concepts of policing, competitiveness and policing competitiveness through the theoretical review, and to present a research system for cross-nation comparisons. It is also an exploratory study that presents the contents and direction of future research. The concept needed for research was theoretically discussed, defining the concept of policing competitiveness. In addition, the existing limitations of national competitiveness were analyzed, and as an alternative, the concept of government competitiveness was supplemented and developed to present alternatives. In particular, the research system was formed, including the conversion process of the quality of bureaucrats and regulations. Along with the application of the system theory that the output and results of each country's governments depend on their capabilities based on their given resources, the hierarchy of needs theory was applied considering each country's development stage. Based on this analysis, the concept of policing competitiveness and government competitiveness was derived along with the key concept, and the research was meaningful in that the framework of future international index design was presented.
