생산 네트워크와 노동력 공급의 지리학: 경기 북부 전자산업 고용관계 연구

The purpose of this research is to analyze the characteristics of employment relations that are formed when LG Display was located in northern Gyeonggi Province in the mid-2000s as it interacts with the local labor market. In this study, it is noted that there are systematic differences in production and employment relations depending on the subcontracting position. In other words, the position of the company depends on the production and parts supply strategy of the original company, the use strategy of the workforce, and the difference in employment and control structure. However, the sub-contract structure that forms in the production area does not completely determine the employment relationship. For a production plant to operate effectively, it must be able to reliably supply the labor it needs. Whether a company can smoothly secure the necessary workforce depends on local labor market conditions. The structures of industries formed in the local space combine with the conditions of the local labor market, and they create unique employment relationships. In this article, I combine the demands of the electronic industry production network with the characteristics of the local labor market in Yangju and analyze the employment relationships of 2nd/3th sub-contractors of the electronic industry in Yangju.
