A Study on the Activation of Cross Border E-commerce in China

Through the analysis on the supply chain, the business models and the demand of industry with “Belt and Road Initiative”, the paper finds out the influencing factors which reflect the development of cross-border e-commerce. Combined with the overall economic environment and the strategy of “Belt and Road Initiative, it makes a comprehensive evaluation and analysis to the three links of supply chain, namely upstream suppliers; supporting service systems and the downstream customer buyers. Along with the obstacles of logistics facilities, like outdated logistics facilities at cross-border, transactional security, high credit risks, the paper will combine the concerning policies and supporting industry measures to explore the cross-borders’ needs to break through the bottleneck of e-commerce development in China. This paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and solutions in order to promote the development of China's cross-border e-commerce.
