성향점수매칭(PSM)과 이중차분법(DID)을 활용한 특성화전문대학육성(SCK)사업 효과성 분석

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the Specialized College of Korea(SCK) project. For this study, analyzing the characteristics of selected colleges in SCK projects, examined the educational performance of colleges using the Propensity Score Matching(PSM) and Difference-in-Differences(DID)method. Major study results showed that there were improvements in colleges in terms of college acceptance rate, dropout rate, number of start-up founders, and employment rate through the SCK project. Further analyzed these results by using PSM method, this project had a positive effect on enrollment rate of freshman and existing student in the short term and employment rate in the long term. Lastly, removed the temporal factor and found out that this project still had a positive effect in terms of college acceptance rate, enrollment rate of freshman. As suggestions for follow-up studies, it is necessary to conduct continuous and diverse studies to analyze the financial support project effectiveness. Next, the effectiveness of this project needs to be analyzed in consideration of qualitative aspects such as college reputation and awareness. Lastly, various indicators need to be improved disclosure of university information in order to confirm the various effects of this financial support project.
