사회적 지지가 이혼을 한 결혼이주여성의 우울과 불안에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 이혼을 경험한 결혼이주여성의 사회적 지지가 우울과 불안에 미치는 영향을 보고자 목적을 가진다. 이를 위하여 이혼을 경험한 결혼이주여성을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 수집된 87부의 설문 자료를 분석하였다. 연구조사도구는 우울척도(Beck Depression Inventory: BDI), 불안척도(Beck Anxiety Inventory: BAI), 사회적 지지 척도(박지원, 1985)를 활용하였다. 통계처리를 위하여 SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 활용하였다. 조사대상자의 일반적 특성을 파악하기 위하여 빈도분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우울정도를 16점을 절단점으로 보았을 때 46.5%가 우울한 것으로 나타났으며, 불안수준은 22점을 절단점으로 보았을 때 31%가 불안의 치료적 개입이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학력에 따른 우울･불안 수준을 살펴보면, 우울은 고등학교가 가장 높게 나타났고, 불안은 학력이 낮을수록 높은 것으로 나타났다. 사회적 지지가 높을수록 우울과 불안의 수준이 낮아지는 것으로 나타나 사회적 지지는 우울과 불안의 수준을 완화하는 데에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인으로 밝혀졌다.
Abstract
The purpose of the present study is to examine how social support for marriage migrant women who have experienced divorce affects depression and anxiety. In order to achieve such a purpose, the study analyzed survey data from 87 questionnaires administered to marriage migrant women who have experienced divorce. The research survey tools were BDI (Beck Depression Inventory), BAI (Beck Anxiety Inventory), and the social support inventory (Ji-won Park, 1985). The SPSS 18.0 program was used for statistical treatment. Frequency analysis was conducted to identify the general characteristics of the survey subjects. The results of the study are as follows. First, with a cutoff point of 16 for depression, 46.5% of the subjects exhibited depression, whereas, with a cutoff point of 22 for anxiety, 31% of the subjects appeared to require therapeutic intervention for anxiety. Second, an examination of depression and anxiety levels in accordance with educational background showed that high school graduates exhibited the highest level of depression, with anxiety increasing with lower educational attainment. Higher levels of social support corresponded to lower levels of depression and anxiety, revealing social support as an important factor that has a positive impact in alleviating the levels of depression and anxiety.
