재외 한인 이주 사회 여성 주체의 등장: 인도네시아 한인 여성 활동가 모빌리티 차별, 네트워크 자본 배제 극복 실천 사례를 중심으로

Jakarta, Indonesia, is the city with heavy traffic. People living in Jakarta must consider more about mobility, and in particular, migrants face great difficulties in mobility in Jakarta. Jakarta’s general mobility difficulties are also gendered. Thus, Korean women living in Jakarta experience dual mobility discrimination, which leads to Korean women’s social exclusion that is occurred by being unable to move freely. This study focuses on the exclusion from major network capital of Korean society among the social exclusions experienced by Korean women living in Jakarta because of the mobility discrimination. In the Korean immigrant society of Indonesia, there are Korean female activists who are symbolized by the emergence of a new generation. They actively practice to overcome the mobility discrimination and network capital exclusion that Korean women commonly experience. This study interprets their practice as the emergence of female subjects in Korean migrant society in Indonesia.
