산업 융합 수단으로써의 디자인 이해를 위한 사고실험

The current industrial movement is called the fourth industrial revolution period. As a social horizon, it is a familiar term, but it is still in progress and is the first declarative industrial change. That is why it is impossible to point out the cores of agriculture, mass production, and information technology, as represented by previous revolutionary industrial changes. Therefore, the purpose of the research described in this paper stems from the question of how design should recognize and understand this industrial change. This is to provide a standard. To this end, based on the research background in the introduction, the role of design and the change of perception according to changes in the fundamental structure of the industry have been summarized through the thought process. Thinking experiments are to share and prove the problems or limitations contained in this summary. As a result of the theorem, it was found that design has the aspect of proving industrial value through the convergence and utility of industrial change. The results and contents of the study are as follows. First, the design in the current industrial environment has reached the stage of discussing the possibility that it can be incorporated into the logical and rational domain even in the sense and emotional domain. Second, since this phenomenon is contrary to the inherent characteristics of design, a new approach and understanding is needed. To discuss this, the relationship between industrial change and design was considered dialectically, and results based on this were drawn. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that it will be a basic basis for forming a new horizon for design methodology and interpretation.
