This study was analyzed the effect of hotel chef's empowering leadership on organizational citizenship behavior through self-efficacy. In addition, It was verified that the effect of hotel chefs' self-efficacy on organizational citizenship behavior. Through this, the purpose of this study was identified that the mechanism of the impact of empowering leadership on organizational citizenship behavior and the characteristic factors that can affect the behavior of members. The research hypothesis was established with a focus on prior studies on empowering leadership, self-efficacy, and organizational citizenship behavior. The results of these studies was confirmed the mechanisms necessary to verify the impact between empowering leadership, self-efficacy, and the organizational behavior of hotel chefs. In addition, in order to encourage hotel cooks' organizational citizenship behavior, the manager of the cooking department was recognized that they should be interested in the organizational citizenship behavior of hotel chefs through empowering leadership. Lastly, the empowering leadership of the leader is to enhance the self-efficacy of the hotel chef according to the personal characteristics of the hotel chef. We can verify this through this study that the empowering leadership of the leader is to enhance the self-efficacy of the hotel chef according to the personal characteristics of the hotel chef.
