Effect of Organizational Virtuousness on Pro-social Rule Breaking: Mediating Role of Psychological Empowerment and Moderating Role of Proactive Personality

The aim of this study is to verify the impact of Organizational Virtuousness on Pro-social Rule Breaking, the mediating effect of Psychological Empowerment and the moderating effect of Proactive Personality. Based on theoretical research, this study was established a research model by proposes 3 key research hypotheses. Data were used to test the hypotheses of the research model by SPSS 24.0, which were collected from employees in China by the survey method. Organizational Virtuousness is positively related to Pro-social Rule Breaking, Psychological Empowerment as the mediating variable and Proactive Personality as the moderating variable effect Organizational Virtuousness and Pro-social Rule Breaking. This study provides a new way of thinking about how to improve the economic efficiency of the enterprise from the perspective of corporate virtuousness and ethics. Managers should pay attention to the construction of their own corporate virtuousness and create a virtuous working atmosphere in order to enhance staff's strain capacity and improve corporate efficiency.
