국제신생벤처기업의 네트워크, 기술지식 역량, 혁신성 및 성과와의 관계

New ventures established on the basis of advanced technology are pursuing rapid internationalization to overcome the scarce resources. The entrepreneurship-related literature suggests the ability of the network as a factor that can give these startups a competitive advantage in overseas markets. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the role of the network by dividing the concept of the network of entrepreneurs/executives of international startups into two types. We also tried to find out how the personal and business networks of entrepreneurs/executives affect technological knowledge competence, innovation and performance. To this end, empirical analysis was conducted using AMOS (18.0 version) for 189 domestic international startup ventures that entered the overseas market within 6 years of establishment. As a result of the analysis, it was found that both personal and business networks have a positive effect on technical knowledge competency. In addition, it was found that technical knowledge competency had a positive effect on innovation, while it did not have a positive effect on performance. Finally, it was found that the relationship between innovation and performance had a positive effect. The results of this study are expected to provide theoretical and practical implications to small and medium-sized startups in Korea seeking internationalization.
