디자인 씽킹을 활용한 인클루시브 디자인 콘셉트 개발

The purpose of this study is to maximize the effectiveness of the process in which developers define real problems and derive ideas that reflect different needs through the detailed activity design of design thinking steps that are empathetic to the user in developing the concept of inclusive design. The contents and methods of this study are as follows. First, a literature review was conducted on design thinking and inclusive design. This led to the discovery of the potential for effective application in developing the concept of an inclusive design, knowing that the design thinking process has a strong emphasis on the stages that users relate to compared to the existing design process. Second, the process of developing an inclusive design concept using design thinking was designed and a workshop was conducted on 35 students at K University. Empty, definition, ideation, and prototyping were configured and tasks were assigned in stages. The task is to use tools to directly experience the user's physical limitations, define problems through a journey to people, locations, objectives, and experiences, and create scenarios for use based on ideation and prototyping. Third, a survey of students who participated in the workshop found that the process using design thinking compared to the existing design process was valid for developing the concept of inclusive design. In particular, we have identified that the empathy step is the most effective. This study is significant in the process of developing the concept of an inclusive design concept, suggesting way for developers to discover a variety of needs through activities that empathize with the user’s marginal situation without the direct participation of the physical limiter.
