Analysis of Entrepreneurship Education in Korean and American Universities

This study analyzed the current status of entrepreneurship education in Korean and American universities, and was conducted to explore the development methods of entrepreneurship education in Korean universities. Methods such as literature analysis and university information disclosure data analysis were used as research methods. As a result of the study, the number of universities that opened entrepreneurship courses in Korean entrepreneurship education, the number of courses in entrepreneurship courses, the number of students completed, and the number of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs showed steady quantitative growth. Compared to the external quantitative growth, there are very few entrepreneurship training experts and support personnel. In addition, in the case of entrepreneurship education organized in regular curriculum, there are more theoretical subjects compared to practical subjects. Therefore, in order to revitalize entrepreneurship education, it is necessary to develop the competence required for experts in entrepreneurship and to make more long-term and systematic efforts to construct and operate the curriculum based on this. In addition, it is necessary to organize and organize the entrepreneurship curriculum organized as regular subjects and entrepreneurship-related comparisons and programs consisting of practice or participation, so that complementary support is possible.
