아트마스크 디자인의 이미지 어휘 분석 및 배색 특성

초록
연구목적: 이 연구는 아트마스크 디자인을 통해 이미지 어휘를 분석하고 디자인에 나타난 배색의 특성을 분석하여 제시된 배색의 특성을 창의적인 작품 제작 및 색채 기획 시에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다. 배색에 관한 대부분의 연구는 배색의 이미지와 색채 조화에 관한 특징을 밝히려는 연구가 대부분인 반면 배색을 이미지 어휘를 통해 규명하는 연구는 미흡한 실정이므로 연구의 의의가 있다. 연구방법: 이미지 어휘는 아트마스크 디자인을 미용관련 대학생 90명을 대상으로, 자유언어연상법을 사용 수집하였다. 색채 분석 방법으로는 먼셀 색체계 10색상 Red, Yellow Red, Yellow, Green Yellow, Green, Blue Green, Blue, Purple Blue, Purple, Red Purple과 Gray, Black, White를 이용해 육안측색하였다. 포토샵을 활용하여 작품의 배색띠를 제작하고 주조색, 보조색, 강조색을 나누어 색채를 구분하였다. 연구결과: 이미지 어휘는 화려한, 신비로운, 무서운, 슬픈, 몽환적인 순으로 나타났고, 화려한과 신비로운 이미지에서 월등히 높은 빈도를 보이고 있어 아트마스크 이미지를 대표한다. 아트마스크 디자인 유형별 어휘는 화려한, 신비로운, 기괴한, 무서운, 몽환적인, 익살스러운, 재미있는 등의 어휘를 바탕으로 Kitch 이미지, 화려한, 신비로운, 아름다운, 몽환적인, 슬픈, 우아한, 따뜻한 등의 어휘를 바탕으로 Fantastic 이미지, 무서운, 어두운, 신비로운, 화려한, 슬픈, 아픈, 공포스런 등 어휘를 바탕으로 Grotesque 이미지로 명명하였다. 결론: 아트마스크 유형에 따라 이미지 어휘, 색채 사용 빈도와 배색의 특성이 각기 다르게 도출됨으로 아트마스크 디자인 구현에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
Pupose: Most of the researches on color combination are mostly about color image and color harmony. On the other hand, research on identifying color combinations through image vocabulary is insufficient. This study analyzes the image vocabulary through the Art Mask design and the characteristics of color combinations in the design. Methods: The image vocabulary was collected by using free language association method, targeting 90 college students related to art mask design. The color analysis method was visualized using Munsell color system 10 colors Red, Yellow Red, Yellow, Green Yellow, Green, Blue Green, Blue, Purple Blue, Purple, Red Purple and Gray, Black, White. Using Photoshop, he created a color combination for his work and divided colors by casting color, auxiliary color, and accent color. Result: The image vocabulary appears in the order of brilliant, mystical, scary, sad, dreamy, and shows an extremely high frequency in the gorgeous and mystical images, representing the Art Mask image. The vocabulary of each type of art mask design was named Kitch image based on vocabulary such as colorful, mysterious, bizarre, scary, dreamy, humorous, and fun. It is named Fantastic image based on vocabulary such as colorful, mystical, beautiful, dreamy, sad, elegant and warm. Grotesque was named based on vocabulary such as scary, dark, mystical, colorful, sad, sick and horrible. Conclusion: The image vocabulary, the frequency of color use, and the color combination are derived differently according to the type of Art Mask, which may help to implement the Art Mask design.
