A Study on the Role of Women in the Process of Entrepreneurship and Succession in the Longevity Restaurants

This study analyzed the labor history of women who have lived as founders or successors in longevity restaurant. By analyzing the role of women in the longevity restaurant, I tried to analyze how it affected the growth and development of the family business. Five cases in which a woman started a business and had a female successor were used in the analysis. The research results are as follows.; 1. The role of Female founder : In the process of starting a business, she shows a passionate entrepreneurship and competency based on home-grown skills. In addition, based on the business philosophy, he demonstrates strong leadership in the enterprise. 2. The role of Female successors: They are Guardians of the family business tradition and core value inherited from her predecessor. They are Guardians of the family business tradition and core value inherited from her predecessor, A manager who demonstrates leadership and competency for the long-lasting of family business, A broker who translate family business to future generations through training. The implication of this study is that a new perspective has been proposed against the discourse of 'masculine = corporate management'.
