스노보드 엉덩이 보호대 디자인을 위해 기술의 집을 이용한 소비자 요구도 및 제품설계요소 연구
Research on Consumers’ Needs and Product Design Factors Using a House of Quality for Designing Snowboard Hip Protectors

본 연구에서는 품질기능전개(QFD; Quality Function Deployment)의 기술의 집을 이용하여 착용감이 우수하며 소비자의 요구사항이 반영된 스노보드 보호대의 디자인을 제안하고자 하였다. 우선 심층 인터뷰를 통해 보호대 개발 시 필요로 하는 소비자 요구사항(What)을 선정하였다. 그 다음 선정된 요구사항에 대한 설문조사를 통해 중요도 점수를 구하였고, 제품설계요소(How)는 선행논문과 전문가 회의를 통해 결정하였다. 이를 통해 최종 설계요소의 중요도 값(Absolute Importance)을 계산하였고 그 결과를 스노보드 보호대 디자인 설계에 활용하였다. 조사결과 스노보드 보호대 개발 시 요구사항은 착용감(편안함), 충격흡수정도, 사이즈, 동작용이성, 소재, 착탈의 편의성, 무게, 가격, 소재 등이었다. 이중 응답자의 48%가 충격흡수정도를, 37%가 착용감 및 편안함을 가장 중요하게 고려한다고 하였다. 제품설계요소(How)로는 충격흡수, 흡한속건, 투습도, 치수적합성, 동작편의성 등으로 결정되었으며, 기술의 집 전개 결과 충격흡수가 잘 되는 새로운 소재의 적용이 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 동작을 방해하지 않는 편안한 형태의 프로텍터와 운동 시 땀이 잘 배출될 수 있는 형태의 보호대 개발이 요구됨을 알 수 있었다. 이를 위해 스노보드 동작 시에도 인체에 잘 밀착되면서 동작이 편안하고 땀이 잘 배출될 수 있는 3차원을 활용한 프로텍터 디자인 형태를 제안하였다
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to suggest a design of comfort snowboard protector that reflects consumer needsby using the methods of the Quality Function Deployment (QFD). First, the consumer demands (What) regarding thedevelopment of the protectors were selected through in-depth interviews. The importance rating of each selected demand(What) was assessed through a survey, and the product design elements were chosen through preceding studies andexperts’ conferences. Finally, the absolute importance values were calculated using the importance rating and relationshipmatrix, and then used in the designing of the snowboard protector. Study results showed that fit, comfort, shock absorption,size, activity comfort, material, weight, cost, etc. were the demands in developing the snowboard protectors. The shockabsorption and comfort were considered most important by 48.0% and 37% of the respondents, respectively. The shockabsorption, moisture absorption, drying speed, moisture permeability, suitable size, activity comfort, etc. were selectedas the product design elements. And then the result of developing the "House of Quality" showed that the applicationof a new thin material with superior shock absorption was required. Also, it was known that the development of acomfortable protector that does not hinder motion and easily emits perspiration was required. For this purpose, thedesign of a protector that applies 3D technology, adheres comfortably to the body during motion, and emits perspirationwell is presented.
