관광블록체인 기술 적용에 대한 관광객의 블록체인 이용동기와 블록체인 제약요인(보안성 및 신뢰성) 간의 관계성 연구

전 세계적으로는 이미 블록체인 기술기반의 플랫폼이 보편적으로 사용되는 추세가 강하게 나타나기는 하지만, 아직 관광산업분야에서는 여타 산업에 비해 상대적으로 보편성이 매우 저조한 실정이다. 또한 실물경제적 관점에서 관광객에게 관광블록체인에 대한 인식이 아직 까지는 상대적으로 부족한 실정이라는 견해가 현실의 관광산업에서는 지배적일 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 관광객이 관광블록체인 기술을 이용하는 블록체인 이용 동기와 블록체인 이용의 제약요인 간의 관계성 규명을통해 IT산업혁명과 관광산업의 최적의 상생조합을 모색할 자료와 근거를 확보하고자 한다. 이러한 연구를 통해 관광산업에서의 관광블록체인 활성화를 위한 기초자료로서의 소기의 역할을 기대할 수 있다. 데이터 수집은 2020년 4월 27일부터 5월 10일까지였으며, 총 400개의 온라인설문지가 배포되었고, 359부가 본 연구의 실증적 분석에 활용되었다. 가설검정을 하기 위하여 AMOS21.0을 이용하여구조방정식 모델링과 경로분석을 수행하였다. 본 연구의 결과로서 관광블록체인의 이용 제약요인은관광블록체인 이용 동기에 부정적인 영향을 전반적으로 미치고 있었으며, 이용 동기의 여러 변수 중에서도 다양성 변수만이 유일하게 관계성이 없다는 것이 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 관광블록체인의보안성과 신뢰성에 대한 관광객들의 불신과 불확실성이 블록체인 이용 동기에 매우 중요한 원동력임을 제시하는 주된 근거로 밝혀진 것이다. 블록체인 기술이 일반적으로 관광객에게 보편적인 인식과이해의 부족을 초래해, 관광블록체인에 대한 이용 제약요인(보안성과 신뢰성) 문제를 발생시킬 수 있으며, 이에 따른 대응방안으로 정부 또는 기업이 블록체인과 관련된 교육이나 홍보 등의 블록체인에대한 심리적 측면뿐만 아니라, 물리적으로도 보다 더 접근성을 높일 수 있는 다양하고 실천적인 서비스 제공과 프로그램의 확대를 통해 해결방안을 모색하고 적용해야 할 것이다.
Abstract
Although there is a strong trend in which platforms based on blockchain technology are already being applied universally around the world, it is not yet relatively common in the tourism industry compared to other industries. In addition, from a real economical point of view, the view that tourists are relatively lacking in awareness of the tourism blockchain may prevail. Therefore, this study aims to find the optimal coexistence combination between the IT industrial revolution and the tourism industry, by investigating the relationship between the motives and constraints of usingthe blockchain technology by tourists. Through this research, a desired role as basic data for activating the tourism blockchain in the tourism industry is expected. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the constraints. Data was collected from April to May, 2020 and a total of 359 copies were used for the empirical analysis of this study. Structural equation modeling and path analysis were performed using AMOS 21.0 for hypothesis testing. As a result of this study, it was found that the constraints on the use of the tourism blockchain have a negative effect on the motivation for using the tourism blockchain as a whole, and only the diversity variable has no relationship among the various variables of motivation use. These results suggest that tourists' distrust and uncertainty regarding the security and reliability of the tourism blockchain are very important driving factors for the motivation to use the blockchain. Blockchain technology generally leads to a lack of universal awareness and understanding for tourists, which can cause security and reliability issues, which are constraints on the use of tourism blockchain, and as a countermeasure, the government or corporations can provide education related to blockchain technology. It is necessary to seek and apply solutions through the expansion of programs and provision of various practical services that can increase psychological and physical accessibility to the blockchain, such as public relations.
